The Bears turned the phones into found money: A-.

The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. With edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on TE-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Rome Odunze and all.
