Call it larceny. Kingsley Suamataia sat on the board until No. 92, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The cost of the Jefferson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
