Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Lions.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 57 spots for DeMonte Capehart, and value like that does not grow back. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Richardson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
