The Steelers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C-.

The Steelers did not so much draft Ty Robinson as overpay for him, 42 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The final tally is a middling C-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Skattebo. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

The Steelers indulged a want in Fairchild while a need in safety, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

So much rides on Tyleik Williams that the real verdict is a season or two away.
