You could see the war room lean forward. Nick Emmanwori at the 49th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
