ScottieB DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall
B
ValueA-

FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Vikings for Judkins: B. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Quinshon Judkins, the No. 70 name on the board, stolen at the Round 5 slot. No fireworks, but a solid B.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Kenneth Grant
In the 24th overall pick they get a load in the middle at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick97
Rnd3
TreVeyon Henderson
They will replay TreVeyon Henderson at slot 97 for years; that is how good the value is. It fills a real need, too.
Pick140
Rnd5
Quinshon Judkins
Quinshon Judkins in No. 140 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick161
Rnd5
Jake Majors
Jake Majors at pick No. 161 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
