Best value of the weekend goes to the Panthers for Cornelius: B.

Somebody in Round 4, Pick 1 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Panthers sat still while Ajani Cornelius, the No. 45 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
