The Saints looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Dontay Corleone at the 5th overall pick regardless, 35 picks early. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Hit on Dontay Corleone and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
