Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bears spent the 239th overall pick on Demon Clowney, a name most had 185 spots down the list.

Mesidor falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. With running back, cornerback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
