Skattebo should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a C. The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, sitting there at Round 6, Pick 39 like a gift left on the doorstep.
The Weaver reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
