The Chargers torched the value chart for Christian Gray, taking him 95 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Allen at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.
