Larceny in pick 228 lands the Lions a B, Jackson and all.

Somebody in pick No. 228 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Jha'Quan Jackson, the No. 179 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Sainristil proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
