Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

Every board in the league had Tupuola-Fetui lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

With interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Bullock.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
