The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 193 spots for Michael Trigg, and value like that does not grow back. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

The whole projection now runs through Sam Leavitt; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Metcalf steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
