The tape said wait; the Ravens did not. Jordan Jefferson went at the 149th pick, a good 37 picks before the board was ready. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They banked enough surplus on McCaffrey to cover a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
