Call it larceny. Carson Beck sat on the board until the 81st pick, and the Buccaneers did not need to be asked twice. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Higgins pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

If Will Johnson and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
