The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Shedeur Sanders, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

Moore falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
