The Vikings did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Vikings torched the value chart for Eric Gentry, taking him 104 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They banked enough surplus on Downs to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
