The Bengals lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The phones were a trap the Bengals kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They will need Murphy II to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Gentry pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
