The Cowboys lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

There is reaching, and then there is Mason Fairchild at the 245th pick. The Cowboys jumped the board by 55 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. However the rest shakes out, Bullard at that price is a win they earned. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
