The tape said wait; the Seahawks did not. Blake Watson went at pick No. 233, a good 45 picks before the board was ready.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Seahawks paired the rookies with proven help, Luke Fortner leading the way.

On value alone, Kinchens makes the weekend a net positive.
