A costly weekend of dealing drags the Commanders to a D-.

The Commanders went off the board in a big way for Gabe Jacas, 50 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Put together, it is a D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

That Lacy pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
