Weigman should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B-.

Call it larceny. Conner Weigman sat on the board until No. 225, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They will need Collins to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

In slot 12 they get a difference-maker at receiver, reach and all. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
