A costly weekend of dealing drags the Seahawks to a C.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Seahawks started one anyway for Barryn Sorrell, 78 picks ahead of schedule. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

Gabriel at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The veteran additions, Ivan Pace Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

So much rides on Nick Emmanwori that the real verdict is a season or two away.
