A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D+.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 143 spots for J.J. Weaver, and value like that does not grow back. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
