Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Danny Stutsman, the No. 90 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 136th pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They will need Gordon II to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
