The phones sank the Commanders this weekend: D.

When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jordan Burch at the 141st pick, a reach of 54 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Stutsman pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and wide receiver is still a hole.

Mykel Williams at the 60th overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went linebacker with Danny Stutsman while clear needs at wide receiver, quarterback and other spots sat open.
