Best value of the weekend goes to the Vikings for Taaffe: A-.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Vikings came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

However the rest shakes out, Taaffe at that price is a win they earned. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Vikings paired the rookies with proven help, Malik Hooker leading the way.

Bottom line, with Jeremiyah Love leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
