They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The Stover pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. Polk has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
