A costly weekend of dealing drags the Seahawks to a D.

The Collin Oliver selection is the head-turner. The Seahawks reached 97 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Phillips where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
