Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Kaelon Black at Round 5, Pick 38 is 36 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Haulcy falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
