If confidence were a draft strategy, the Jaguars would have aced it. Cooper Beebe at pick No. 48 is 28 spots clear of where he belonged.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on King to cover a lot of smaller sins.
