The real work happened on the phones. The Patriots fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

They are betting Matavao proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Henderson at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Nic Scourton and all.
