The Patriots torched the value chart for Davin Vann, taking him 54 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
