Larceny in Round 7, Pick 40 lands the Browns a A, Fitzgerald and all. You build a draft on nights like this. Ryan Fitzgerald had no business being available in pick No. 256, and the Browns did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had Ewers lower, and that gap is the story. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
In the end it comes back to Tetairoa McMillan, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
