The tape said wait; the Chargers did not. CJ Dippre went at the 209th pick, a good 36 picks before the board was ready. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Landing Stout that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
