Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kyle McCord got past him. The Raiders do not have to explain a thing at No. 180.

They will need Hawes to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
