The Packers let McCoy fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Bru McCoy got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at the Round 6 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Spending an early pick on safety with tight end and interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
