The Rams answered their biggest question with Klubnik. Grade: D+.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Jalen Thompson; the Rams did not wait, grabbing him 48 spots ahead at pick No. 198. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

They have staked the next five years on Cade Klubnik, which is the only story that really matters here. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

The Leavitt pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
