You can hear the double-takes from here. The Steelers took Tanor Bortolini at the Round 4 slot, roughly 69 spots before his name belonged.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. With tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That McClellan pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.
