Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Steelers.

The Steelers clearly saw something nobody else did in Gee Scott Jr., taking him 240 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
