Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Colts were there to profit. Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 122 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 176. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

The cost of the Alexander reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. With wide receiver, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
