When a board-topper like Kenyon Sadiq slides to the 253rd pick, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
