Larceny in slot 43 lands the Dolphins a B-, Stone and all.

The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: David Stone, the No. 9 name on the board, sitting there at the 43rd overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

If Green pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
