Draft Grade — Dolphins
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedA- TradesA+ FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Dolphins and Moore: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Dolphins were there to profit. Dante Moore, the No. 2 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 67. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Adding Trey McBride by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick5 Rnd1 Jeremiah Smith
In pick 5 they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick67 Rnd3 Dante Moore
Dante Moore in the Round 3 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick104 Rnd4 Quincy Rhodes Jr.
Quincy Rhodes Jr. in the 104th pick is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick139 Rnd5 Isaac Brown
Isaac Brown at Round 5, Pick 1 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick160 Rnd5 Corey Myrick
The board fumbled Corey Myrick all the way to pick No. 160, and they scooped it up. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick186 Rnd6 Jayden Jackson
They robbed the room for Jayden Jackson here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick241 Rnd7 Xavier Chaplin
They took Xavier Chaplin at par in slot 241, which is nothing to complain about. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick254 Rnd7 Addison Nichols
A tidy little value on Addison Nichols in No. 254, a step better than break-even. The roster fit checks out.
