The Eagles let Williams fall and pounced. Final grade: D-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Eagles did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.

Somehow Cameron Williams was still sitting there in the 96th pick, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

A big swing on Sai'vion Jones at the Round 4 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

Tyler Baron at pick No. 128 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
