The Jalen McLeod selection is the head-turner. The Eagles reached 45 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Burke at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
