The Eagles spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Denzel Burke, the No. 114 name on the board, in Round 5, Pick 23. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If Gadsden II pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
