The Eagles checked most of the boxes and earned a B. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Eagles did exactly that with Howard Cross III in the 168th overall pick.
Landing King that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
The trade work was a quiet net positive. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
