The Eagles lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Green pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Ioane. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
